Muhurta: not available as an automatic search

Choosing an auspicious time depends on the purpose, the people involved, the tradition and local custom, and the rules differ widely between schools. We have no independently verified rule set to calculate it, so we do not show invented dates.

What you can do instead

  • See the day's panchang (tithi, nakshatra, yoga, karana, weekday, sunrise and sunset).
  • Ask a verified expert who offers muhurta consultations for your tradition: find an expert.
  • Ask the priest you are booking for a puja; many will suggest a date as part of the service.

Even an expert-chosen time cannot guarantee how an event turns out.
